2020 Summit Bid: Partners

Editor’s Note: The Summit Bid, the ACC’s silent auction is back for another year and hosted online - win big on experiences, art and gear while supporting the ACC!

Since our inception more than 110 years ago, the ACC has been deeply committed to shaping meaningful mountain culture, defining responsible outdoor leadership, and advocating for the preservation of Canada’s mountain environment. Auction bids directly fund this continuing legacy and we thank you for your support!

The auction site is currently live here, where your auction bids directly fund the ACC’s Greatest Need Fund.

The auction will include great gear, fantastic experiences and exceptional mountain art. Browse our PARTNER offerings below to learn more about them.

Mountain Partners

Our programs and camps wouldn’t be what they are without the help from our mountain partners - they provide plenty of fresh gear and funding, facilitating some pretty rad adventures!

Mountain Hardwear sponsors the ACC’s flagship mountain adventure: the General Mountaineering Camp (GMC). Every summer at the GMC participants climb, explore, learn and share experiences in a new mountain wilderness setting. And stay dry in Mountain Hardwear tents.

YETI is a brand new partner of ours, so you can look forward to seeing them in the future alongside the ACC.

We are absolutely psyched to have these two partners join us for the Summit Bid this year! Learn more about them below and see what’s available to bid on.

Mountain Hardwear was founded in 1993 by a small band of outdoor industry iconoclasts. They saw the industry changing, compromising quality and dumbing down products to serve less technical users. Mountain Hardwear was founded to buck this trend in order to stay true to the needs of outdoor athletes.

DONATION: Mineral King™ 2 Tent, Women's Lamina™ 0F/-18C Sleeping Bag, Alpine Light™ 28 Backpack, Women's Exposure/2™ Gore-Tex® Paclite® Jacket, Classic MHW Logo™ Trucker Hat

In 2006, we founded YETI Coolers with a simple mission: build the cooler we’d use every day if it existed. One that was built for the serious outdoor enthusiast rather than for the mass-discount retailers. One that could take the abuse we knew we’d put it through out in the field and on the water. One that simply wouldn’t break. We decided early on that product innovation would come from necessity and firsthand experience – not from market research and data analysis. Today, YETI products perform when it matters most - whether that be an excursion into the remote Alaskan wilderness, chasing redfish on the Gulf coast, or just getting together with friends in the backyard.

DONATION: A ton of coolers and sweet gear!
