Read MoreParks Canada has announced that beginning in 2023, the road to Moraine Lake in Banff National Park will be closed to personal vehicles year round. This is a significant development for users of the area and for ACC members and the mountaineering community. The ACC has been included in discussions on this matter and while the club was not a part of the decision making process, we do support Parks Canada’s decision.
